We opened our doors in 1987 and have been helping families invest in the future for over 30 years. Our focus is twofold: first and foremost, we are fiduciaries. We stand against any violation of laws, values and ethics. Second, we treat our clients as part of our family, putting their needs before our own. We strive to exceed client’s expectations – because we have high expectations of ourselves.

We call this the accumulation phase. In this phase our clients are still building assets for retirement. We make sure they are planning well so they can have the right amount of income to go fishing, travel, spend time with grandkids, and “enjoy the golden years.”

If you call us, you’ll hear an actual human voice and not a recording; if you visit us, you’ll be greeted by a friendly face at the office as soon as you walk through our doors. You’ll work with a group of individuals that know you and can help guide you.

Financial planning topics are often stressful or hard to think about. We know your life circumstances are unique and they deserve a dedicated, personal approach to address your concerns about how life is going to work around your future finances.

We run our business using a multi-generational approach because we value wisdom and relevance. Our interns and assistants on up to our partners and founders all involved on many levels.

We believe in hiring well.

From student interns to senior partners, we’re careful about who we hire and value each member of our team. We look for employees who value trust and respect, who are teachable and not defensive. Personality, skills, and credentials matter to us. Anyone can say they are financial planners, but very few are Certified Financial Planners. Our number of CFPs greatly exceeds the norm.

We believe in developing long-term relationships.

That’s why we have to like our clients and they have to like us. Our clients count on us and we want to continue to help them through all walks of life. Some of our current clients are great-grandchildren of past clients. We have over $470 million in assets under advisement, but our only minimum is that we like working together!
